Indigo and Ghost
Hand-drawn, stream of consciousness, non-linear weekly drawing practice by Anna Hollis
Indigo & Ghost is a drawing exercise in the form of a comic. Its a story about a woman and her possibly-imaginary, possibly-judgmental glitch creature sidekick trying to survive late capitalism, haunted media, and whatever’s growing in the fridge. Sometimes frames are well rendered, sometimes sketchy and rushed. This is the part of art making that the internet never shows. The artistic process is as much about the sketchy, weird failures as it is the well-rendered, perfect images that we see on social media. The process is the art.
